LOCAL AREA & ATTRACTIONS

The King Robert Hotel is situated on the fields of the Battle of Bannockburn, one of Scotland’s major historical sites. Learn more about the battle and Robert the Bruce from the National Trust Heritage Centre which is directly next door to the hotel, or take a gentle stroll through the trees behind the hotel to the mighty statue of King Robert the Bruce, taking in the panoramic views of the castle and beyond.

Stirling, steeped in history with its magnificent castle, is a few minutes away, and Scotland's newest city also has a thriving arts and clubbing scene, with bars and pubs of every description.

Countless golf courses are on our doorstep. The National Wallace Monument is unmissable, close your eyes and relive Braveheart and the legendary exploits of William Wallace...

Slightly further afield? How about the shops and bustle of Glasgow? The grandeur of Edinburgh? The rugged hills and sparkling lochs of the glorious Trossachs? The Falkirk Wheel? Loch Lomond itself? All waiting to be explored and enjoyed!
